The Sussex Hive Activity Trefoil Guild (TSHATG) which is a new County Wide Trefoil Guild open to all Trefoil, Guiding and non-Guiding Adults who would like to enjoy a more Active programme. Since the launch in February, we currently have 28 members, 7 primary members so we are now registered with HQ. We also have our own bank account and have set up 3 dedicated email addresses for Finance, Communications and Events. All events will be published on the County Trefoil Website and all members of Trefoil and Leaders in Girlguiding will be invited to take part by email invitation via Guild Chairs and Girlguiding Divisions via County Newsletter and County Commissioner Lisa Bardon.

This month, on June 19th we have a walk around Cuckfield looking at the hidden gem of a waterfall finishing at the Harvester in Beech Hurst Gardens. Invitations have already been distributed. Cut off date for accepting anymore is June 10th as final numbers need to be given to The Harvester so if you are interested, please look on the website and contact Evral on tshatgevents@gmail.com.

July, we have a BBQ and Croquet at Nowhurst – invitations have gone out today – cut-off date is July 10th and September is a walk Around High Beeches in Handcross finishing with a cream tea. Date tbc.

In August there is a residential weekend planned at Blacklands Farm, East Grinstead at Wagtail Lodge for those who wish to be inside and those who wish to be under canvas can bring their own tent, it is open to all those in Guiding and Trefoil so watch out for the advert and invitation. Numbers are limited to 30 bunks so lockdown dependent, with numbers inside, get your booking in quickly. July 1st is the cut-off date and invites will go out this weekend. TSHATG is also looking at running an event at WSIJ22 in August next year, as well as camping and helping on activities across WSIJ22.
