Members met at Jack & Jill Windmills for a steady hike to the Chattri – Indian Memorial .  It was a beautiful warm evening with super views over the downs.  At the Chattri we found a number of wreaths of poppies which appeared to have been laid only a few days before our visit. This is memorial to Indian Solldiers who fought in the First World War. Photos were taken for our Somewhere Special – Chairman’s Challenge.  Whilst there we also saw some very beautiful  Yellow Hammers (birds). We joined with members of South Down Division to raise funds for Help the Hero’s (Chairman’s Challenge – FundRaising for a Charity)
