For their March Zoom  meeting Beacon Guild enjoyed an informative talk from Colin McFarlin on recycling in West Sussex. Members were told what types of items were able to go into blue  or black bins or the local recycling site. They were surprised to learn that each County has different rules, so for example West Sussex requires bottle tops to be removed but other Counties do not! There are even different coloured bins within the County, with Chichester sporting a very stylish burgundy one!

Members will certainly now do their bit to reducing landfill and by consequence the tax our Council pays to Central Government!
