We have met each month in 2021 via Zoom and have had some interesting talks from a range of speakers.

 January – we had a presentation from the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance about the wonderful work they do rescuing people and saving lives. 

February  -we held an international evening for Thinking Day where each member selected a country for other members to guess on the basis of clues. 

March the West Sussex County Council Recycling Ambassador gave us advice about what can be recycled and what can’t and how recycled materials are used. 

We have also heard from the Sailors’ Society and the Healing Animals Organisation about the work they respectively do with merchant sailors and cruise ship staff and with animals all over the world.

We have also each month had a Zoom coffee morning as a means to get together and chat.

Looking forward, we are planning a local walk and picnic in June, an outdoor meeting at the Guide Hall in July and a pot luck supper in a member’s garden in August.
